We collect the following types of information when you use VibeHire:

• GitHub OAuth information: Your GitHub username, email address, avatar URL, and profile metadata provided during sign-in.
• Profile data: Any additional information you add to your VibeHire profile, such as your bio, skills, or portfolio links.
• Gig and application content: Gig listings you create, applications you submit, and associated details.
• Messages: Communications sent between users through the Platform.
• Usage data: Information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, actions taken, and timestamps.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Platform
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Facilitate connections between gig posters and applicants
• Send transactional emails (e.g., application confirmations, gig updates)
• Monitor for abuse, fraud, and policy violations
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the user experience

VibeHire relies on the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase: Database hosting, authentication, and real-time infrastructure. Your data is stored in Supabase-managed infrastructure.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery. Your email address is shared with Resend to send platform notifications.
• GitHub: OAuth authentication provider. We receive profile information from GitHub when you sign in.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle your data.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform's services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

You have the right to:
